RAUSCH Swiss Sage Hair Tonic, 200 ml

The active hair strengthener with sage oil and botanical extracts of Sage, Nettle, Plantain, Oak bark and Houseleek. Counteracts yellowing, revitalizes and strengthens both scalp and hair.

The essential oils in sage gently disinfect and deodorise, and give hair a fresh and natural scent. Originally sage comes from the Mediterranean, but it is cultivated widely throughout Europe. Sage extract is used by RAUSCH in our specialty hair care range for graying and white hair, as well as in the Herbaderm body care range.

Nettle stimulates the circulation in the scalp and encourages hair growth. In Europe nettles usually grow on the edges of woods or in hedgerows. As a weed it “decorates” gardens, fences and rubbish dumps. Thanks to the mild mucilage contained in plantain extract, it conditions and protects the scalp. Plantain is found all over Switzerland, on verges and in meadows. The bark of the oak is rich in tannin and has an astringent and anti-inflammatory effect. The oak is found in European forests, scattered through both deciduous and coniferous forests. Houseleek is rich in soothing mucilage, it protects the hair and has a positive effect on the functions of the scalp. Houseleek grows on roofs and walls and is found predominantly in Southern and Central Europe.
