In theory, it is possible to brush your teeth without toothpaste but toothpaste makes brushing easier and supports the elimination of bacterial dental plaque. Special active ingredients help to prevent the creation of caries as well as gingivitis.

Kid's toothpaste
There are special kid's toothpastes which have a low level of fluorides (or no fluorides at all) - maximum 500 miligramme per kilogramme. These toothpastes should be used as soon as your baby got his or her first baby tooth.

Appliance: 1x per day - until the 2nd birthday, afterwards 2x per day.
Just use a pea-sized dose of the toothpaste

After the 6th or 7th birthday, it is recommended to use a toothpaste whith a normal level of fluorides (1000 to 1500 milligramme per kilogramme)

Dentists recommend to brush your teeth in the morning and in the evening at least 3 minutes.
